Rossen Law Firm did a lot of work to make sure that our client Joshua was never arrested and never actually had the false rape charges filed against him.
Because of our work, Joshua’s case was completely dropped and his good name and his career could continue on without his reputation being tarnished.
Joshua was coming home from work one day when he got an out-of-the-blue call from a detective.
Joshua was asked about a business trip that he took with an associate of his, in which he and a woman were in an on-again / off-again dating relationship. While the woman occasionally did business with Joshua, she did not work for him and he was not in a position of power over her (aka: he wasn’t her boss).
The cop abruptly explained what the call was about, saying that Joshua’s female business associate had accused him of raping her. The detective did not allow for Joshua to explain his side of the story.
Joshua is a very successful local South Florida businessman with a thriving career. He was extremely scared of going to prison and of having a false accusation of rape ruin his reputation and career.
Joshua hired Rossen Law Firm immediately after the detective’s call, he had no idea where the claim and accusation was coming from, in order to get some proper advice about how to deal with the accusation.
The accusation was from a work trip two years prior and Joshua and the woman had no issues or fights at that time. Rossen Law Firm pulled their text messages to show that Joshua and the woman hung out many times after the business trip in which the woman alleged Joshua raped her. The text records illustrated the pair continued to have a relationship after the business trip.
We decided to let Joshua speak directly to the police, and we provided documents of the texts as well. The police did not completely trust the woman in the first place, and after hearing Joshua’s testimony they agreed that the claim was false and realized that Joshua was innocent.
