Discover how Rossen Law Firm became pivotal in her career transformation.
Meet Mallory Lever, a young woman whose journey from medicine to law is as inspiring as it is intriguing. Originally from Hickory, North Carolina, Mallory’s career path took an unexpected turn when the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Her story is a testimony to the power of resilience and adaptability in uncertainty.
Mallory attended Appalachian State University, where she studied speech therapy. Her initial career path seemed set in the field of medicine. However, the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic led her to work at UNC Medical briefly. Despite the valuable experience, Mallory couldn’t shake the feeling that she was meant for something different.
During a year of soul-searching, Mallory discovered her interest in Pilates and realized her natural proficiency in reading and writing. This self-realization sparked an interest in law, leading her to prepare for the LSAT (Law School Admission Test.)
Eventually, her journey led her to South Florida, where she found a position at the Rossen Law Firm. This move provided her with a job and ignited a passion for the legal field. At RLF, she gained valuable insights into law firm operations, client interactions, and dealings with the state attorney’s office. Communicating with clients is Mallory’s favorite aspect of her job. She derives immense satisfaction from improving their quality of life and finds fulfillment in filing motions that positively impact their lives.
One such rewarding case involved a DUI charge. Mallory assisted the client with a hardship application, enabling them to regain driving privileges. She also guided them on expungement. The client was incredibly grateful and formed a meaningful connection during their interaction.
